Reebok ZPump Fusion Review

11 Apr

So they call it, “The shoe that adapts to you”. This sounds like the best invention ever known to man to us fitness professionals right? A shoe that is supposed to mold to any runner’s foot for a locked-in custom fit. How do you know if the Reebok ZPump Fusion is really the right choice for you? Here’s my reebok zpump fusion review. I’ll let you be the judge.

1. Weight

The Reebok ZPump Fusion is 9.8oz in weight. A standard running shoe usually weights about 10oz or more. So this shoe definitely provides a bit more of a lightweight feel. However, if you are someone who loves the barefoot minimalist feeling when running, this would NOT be the shoe for you.

2. Toe box
As fitness professionals who train, you and I both know how critical the toe box is to the fit of the shoe. If this area does not fit you properly, you could start having issues like: black toenails, ingrown toenails, blisters, painful corns and calluses and more. Unlike some of the Reebok Crossfit shoes, The Reebok ZPump Fusion does NOT have a wide toe box. Which means if you have a really wide foot or you are doing exercises where your feet may need extra room to spread (like jump squats or lifting), you may want to consider another Reebok shoe.
